Tennis players we have what you're looking for! Not only do we have four Har-Tru surface courts and two hard surface courts for you to enjoy, we have a thriving tennis community of all ages. Enjoy a break from the weather in our newly remodeled tennis facility complete with a tennis pro shop. Whether you are looking for a challenging competitive match, or an enjoyable social experience, you will find it here. Our Director of Tennis, John Mercer and his coaching staff, will observe play and set up lessons to improve your game. We also feature a variety of events throughout the season that are suitable for your skill level.

GOALS OF GUYAN

  • Have fun learning the game of tennis
  • Learn and practice good sportsmanship
  • Develop the technical, strategic and mental aspects of the game
  • Give every child the basic fundamentals to be competitive at the junior high and high school level
  • Offer directions in becoming a USTA Junior ranked player

To try to accommodate members who have non-member friends who have been using the tennis facilities more than 6 times during a year, as well as others in the community, we have adopted a tennis membership on a trial basis for this coming season. The cost will be $1000 for a family or $550 individual. There will be no initiation fee or dues; however, it will not include any club facilities except for tennis. If you have friends that might be interested, see our membership director for details.

TENNIS RULES

  • United Tennis Association rules are in effect.
  • The play-ability of the courts will be determined by the Tennis Professional.
  • All players must register daily and/or nightly in the Pro Shop.
  • You may call the Tennis Pro Shop twenty-four hours in advance to reserve a court.
  • Any person or persons playing cannot sign up for a future time until they have completed their playing period.
  • Doubles play is preferred when others are waiting to play.
  • One court will be available for lessons, Players are permitted usage on approval from the teaching professional.
  • Tennis shoes and appropriate tennis attire must be worn. Shirts are required at all times.
  • Adults have priority at all times.
  • Clay courts are closed daily from 2:00 - 3:30 for maintenance.
  • Please keep your club facilities clean. Players are expected to place all litter in the club receptacles provided.
